Chris Boden was first introduced to four wheel driving in the Army and as a result has an affinity with Land Rovers. He has owned a Series II, Series III, a 110 County, a 110 Defender, and now a Defender 130.
Chris has ‘explored’ Tasmania for many years firstly accompanied by a group of friends known as Knopwood 4X4 and later (and still) with the Land Rover Owners Club of Tasmania.
Over the last 15 years he has made numerous trips to mainland Australia visiting 4WD destinations like the Corner Country, Simpson Desert, Canning Stock Route and Anne Beadell and Connie Sue ‘Highways’ as well as the ‘Cape’. His most recent trip was to Moab in Utah, the rock climbing capital of the USA.
He answers to the call sign ‘Tango 7’ on the VKS737 Radio Network.
